A "Seed Group" is what we call a bunch of energetic people who would like to be part of planting an Anglican church in their neighbourhood. The group will have a number of characteristics:
- You will be eager followers of Jesus with a sense that God wants you to reach your neighbourhood
- You will find Anglican spirituality and ecclesiology (how we 'be/do' church) beneficial and want to share it with others
- You will be meeting as a small Bible study, prayer, and fellowship group (or want to start doing so)
- You will be inviting people in the neighbourhood to join you
- You will have a sense of the needs and opportunities for ministry in your neighbourhood
- There will not be an existing ANiC church in reasonable travelling distance
The first step will be to identify the group leader/s and designate the point-person. Contact Anglican Explorers so that we can chat about what's happening and where you are at. Make sure that you arrange to meet and pray regularly for the ministry as it gets going. It is God's work and not ours.
