Moving Ahead in the South Okanagan

The Reverend Lars Nowen has sent Explorers this update on work to be based in Summerland B.C. but reaching out to West Kelowna and the South Okanagan Valley:  Just today the Summerland Lutheran Church (LCC) approved a very generous rental agreement to use their hall on Sunday morning with kitchen, office and storage space. It has proved to be a good working relationship thus far. We hope to start praying in the space at the end of the month. Slowly we are gathering people. We are in the process of gathering together a team. Our Sunday services won't be open to the public at this time, as we are in the gathering phase. We aim, however, to conduct outreach services midweek, and we plan to conduct an Advent Retreat on St. Athanius' Day on the Incarnation.
